(Jan/Feb) The Diamond Season: 60 Years of Mountain Creek Heritage ๐
If you missed the 60th Anniversary Festival in January, don't worryโthe celebration of our "Highland Heritage" is far from over. Mountain Creek is keeping the 60-year spirit alive for the remainder of the 2026 winter season.
Whether you're a local who remembers the original Great Gorge rope tows or a visitor experiencing the valley for the first time, here is how you can still participate in the anniversary season
1. The $60 Retro Special
The most popular promotion of the year is still active on select days! If you can raid your parents' attic (or your own) for original neon onesies, vintage sweaters, or retro goggles, you can still snag a $60 lift ticket.
The Rule: You must be in full retro gear. These are redeemable on-site and are first-come, first-served. Itโs the best way to save some cash while keeping the 1965 vibe alive on the slopes.
2. 60th Anniversary Collaboration Brew
Mountain Creek teamed up with Newburgh Brewing for a limited-edition anniversary beer. The cans are a tribute to the resort's history and have become an instant collector's item. You can find them at the Biergarten and inside KINK through the end of the season.
3. Anniversary Exhibits
The Vernon Base Area still features the historical displays curated for the 60th anniversary. It is worth a walk-through to see the evolution of the mountain from its "Vernon Valley" and "Great Gorge" roots.
Must See: The vintage trail map displayโitโs incredible to see how the four peaks were originally connected before the modern lift systems!
